Sinopsis :
Producción estadounidense-sudafricana escrita por Roland Emmerich y el compositor Harald Kloser. Dirigida por el propio Emmerich y co-protagonizada por Steven Strait y Camilla Belle.
Recibió, en su mayoría, críticas negativas. Los críticos especializados señalan que la película es arqueológicamente incorrecta debido a que aunque trata sobre la prehistoria, contiene diversos anacronismos: El hombre cultivando la tierra, cabalgando caballos, manejando el hierro, etc... Hechos que ocurrieron varios millones de años después.
